Junior Insurance Administrator

We are now looking for starters (trainees) to join our Underwriting Services (UWS) department.

What does the role entail?

The UWS department is crucial to our company After an insurance deal is closed, they take care of all the administration from A to Z. As a trainee, you will be fully immersed in the Underwriting Services department and will receive a broad range of training. You get to do participate in rotations in different sub-teams, each with their own specialization. You'll get the opportunity to discover your strengths and we will provide an environment where you can develop your professional skills.

Your responsibilities:

• Collecting data and drawing up policies & endorsements
• Processing financial data and issuing invoices
• Working closely with different departments and providing the right service to customers and insurance brokers
• Coordinating international insurance programs for large Belgian multinationals
• Continuously looking at how processes can be improved, which you present to your team

About you:

• You speak excellent English (reading & writing) and have a solid level of Dutch (minimum B2), French is a strong plus. 
• You have recently obtained an associate degree or a bachelor (or will get one soon)
• Or you have a maximum of 2 years of work experience and want to take on a new challenge. Knowledge of the insurance sector is a plus, but certainly not a requirement
• You can work well with numbers
• Service-oriented and proactive, you go the extra mile and roll up your sleeves
